Chelsea, good decode. Sean, the coding was correct, you were just missing random bases at the beginning and end of the code to make your decoder look for those start/stop codons.
Here is my decode for reference:
DNA: TACACTGATCGGAAGCATAATTTAGGGTCCATC RNA/Codons: AUG UGA CUA GCC UUC GUA UUA AAU CCC AGG UAG (start) It was good for you because animals want proteins. (stop)
mRNA: AUGUGACUAGCCUUCGUAUUAAAUCCCAGGUAG
ReplyDeleteSentence:
(Start) It Was Good For You Because Animals Want Proteins (Stop)
Great job Chelsea, you got it!
DeleteIs this the correct sentence?
ReplyDelete"It was good for you because animals want proteins"
(AUG) Start Codon UGACUAGCCUUGUAUUAAAUCCCAGG (UAG) End Codon
Please let me know! Thanks:-)
LOZAP, remember that you were only supposed to decode one code. I do know that you have decode another one, correct?
ReplyDeleteI misread the instructions:-(
